A lighthouse stands steady as sunset clouds swell in color and scale, whimsical, enormous, and full of raw emotion. The sea rolls deep and dark beneath them, waves catching the last light of day. Painted with acrylic on canvas, the style blends childlike wonder with the responsibility of a more mature perspective. This was actually a repaint of something I painted two years ago, which was actually my first ever lighthouse painting.
